The watering pattern covers an area of 36 inches down and 18 inches across, making it an ideal choice for a variety of plants, such as fruit trees (e.g., apple, mango, orange, lemon, lime), nut trees (e.g., peanut, almond, chestnut, walnut, hazelnut), and flowering trees (e.g., cherry blossom, dogwood, magnolia, smoke tree, myrtle).
To use the DEEP DRIP Watering Stake, first, hammer the UV-protected, specially engineered cap into the ground using a 3-5 lb. sledgehammer. If you have dense, tough, or compacted soil, pre-soak the planting area and/or use a soil softener before installation. Once the stake is driven into the ground, remove the cap and either insert the end of a ¼-inch drip line or connect a hose to the top hole to deliver water directly to the plant's roots.
